My Command Center

A practical daily plan for completing the assigned NGS pipeline, progressing the halophile manuscript, preparing for CSIR-NET and UGC NET, and building an income stream without losing the routine that keeps everything sustainable.

Weekend objectives ← Back to portfolio
Morning routine
6–9 AM
Exercise, breakfast, get ready
Research blocks
6 hours
Analysis + supervisor meeting + drafting
Exam study
4 hours*
CSIR-NET and UGC NET
Income focus
1 hour
One practical route each day
Sleep and schedule note: waking at 6 AM and studying until midnight leaves too little sleep. The current evening CSIR block (6–8 PM) is a proposed move from the original 6–8 AM slot; UGC remains 10 PM–midnight as requested. Adjust one block earlier or shorten study on some days to protect adequate sleep.

Daily timetable

Tick each block when completed. Use the same structure daily, then change the work focus as deadlines move.

0 / 12 blocks complete
6:00–7:00 AM
Run, workout and exercise
One hour of movement. Keep the routine sustainable and prepare clothes/equipment the night before.
7:00–8:00 AM
Prepare and finish breakfast
Cook, eat, and leave the kitchen ready for the day.
8:00–9:00 AM
Bath, get ready and reach university
Keep essentials, laptop and any meeting notes ready before leaving.
9:00 AM–12:00 PM
Analysis — primary research block
Until Monday: assigned NGS pipeline, debugging, outputs and validation. After delivery: halophile genome analysis and interpretation.
12:00–1:00 PM
Meeting with Dinesh Sir
Report progress, discuss blockers, confirm next deliverables and record action items.
1:00–2:00 PM
Lunch and rest
Take a proper break before the drafting block.
2:00–5:00 PM
Scientific drafting
Write methods/results/discussion; organize figures, tables and references. Draft alongside analysis rather than waiting for all analysis to finish.
5:00–6:00 PM
Income generation
Find tutoring leads, contact potential clients, apply for paid work or package a bioinformatics/Linux/Python service.
6:00–8:00 PM
CSIR-NET preparation Exam
Proposed evening replacement for the original 6–8 AM study block. Focus on concepts, practice questions and previous-year questions.
8:00–10:00 PM
Prepare dinner, eat and clean up
Protect this time as requested. Avoid scheduling extra work inside it.
10:00 PM–12:00 AM
UGC NET preparation Exam
Paper-specific topics, revision and timed practice. Set a clear target before starting.
12:00 AM
Stop, note tomorrow's top 3 and sleep
The current schedule risks insufficient sleep with a 6 AM wake-up. Move study earlier or shorten the late block when needed.
